We first discovered Pebble & Pine Photography while researching options for an Iceland elopement. After discovering Pebble and Pine's Iceland Elopement Tour blog post, we searched through their online portfolios and fell in love with their originality and style!

Before booking our elopement session, Matt & Sayde connected with us through Skype to make sure we were as informed as could be about the elopement promotion and also made a great effort to get to know us and understand our expectations. They maintained this level of communication, and commitment to getting to know us, as we planned our trip, while we were in Iceland, and during our Photography session. Communication with Matt & Sayde was easy and fun and it helped us remain calm and confident with our planning (especially as they continued to provide us with expert advice).

Pebble & Pine Photography committed to a full day of photography and they certainly delivered. They orchestrated and shot pictures all day long which, speaking as people who don’t particularly enjoy being at the center of things or posing for pictures (thus the elopement), flew by in no time. Matt & Sayde were genuinely excited to be taking pictures and made the whole thing feel like a day spent adventuring (through lava fields) with friends.

Just a few days later, Pebble & Pine Photography shocked us when they delivered a handful of amazing pictures (teasers) to us so that we could make an announcement to our friends and family about our marriage! We couldn’t believe how beautiful the pictures were or how quickly they delivered. Then Matt and Sayde blew us away, again, when they delivered the remaining pictures just a couple weeks later!

After having lived through it, I can’t think of a better way to announce an elopement than with stunning pictures from Pebble & Pine Photography. They more than exceeded their commitments and our expectations!

Our only regret is that we don’t get to hang out with Matt and Sayde every week! Thank you both so much for such a wonderful day, experience, and memories!

"When Darlene and I were planning our wedding, there was no question who was going to photograph it for us. Pebble and Pine had already done a couple of weddings for our family members, and the results have been spectacular to say the least. Matt and Sayde have a very natural talent, and work flawlessly as a team to capture the greatest moments, and smallest details of your big day. The thoughtful scenic selection, creative use of light, and expert composition will be evident in the final product that you receive.

Pebble and Pine were extremely flexible for our needs as well. We selected a package with an engagement photo shoot, but we live in Grande Prairie, and P&P is in Vancouver! Matt and Sayde worked with us to fit in our shoot on a very tight schedule and it couldn't have turned out better. Further, on our wedding day, the schedule got pushed back due to unforeseen circumstances. There was no time or light to do a wedding day shoot, but Matt and Sayde came to the rescue and worked with us to schedule a second day shoot. We were able to find a location that would otherwise have been inaccessible due to time constraints, and as expected, the result is spectacular.

"It was a fairly easy choice for us to pick Matt and Sayde as our wedding photographers. We immediately felt comfortable with how laid back and friendly they both are. We first met with Matt to do our engagement photos on Grouse Mountain and he was a trooper as he waded, kneeled, laid in the snow to get all the perfect shots of us.

Having done the engagement photos we knew on our wedding day that we would be totally happy with working with him. The one thing that we always find distracting at weddings is when the photographer blocks the view or distracts the guests from the ceremony. At our wedding we didn't notice Matt and Sayde once.
